As a board member of the NY Chapter of UN Women USA, Cinzia created and produced the  “I ♥ EQUALITY” INFLUENCER CAMPAIGN. This was an entirely non-profit philanthropic project to boost engagement and awareness of what UN Women truly stands for: an entity of the United Nations that works tirelessly towards the Empowerment of Women and total Gender Equality. Through partnerships with philanthropically dedicated influencers with a global reach, the mission of this campaign was to give the public a way to get involved, bringing it into a sphere of life that affects much of our society nowadays: fashion and media. For the 25th anniversary of Beijing's Declaration allowing for women's equal participation in all areas of life, the “I ♥ Equality” campaign launched a limited edition t-shirt designed in collaboration with Award-winning artist Marco Santini, renowned for his graffiti-style art filled with messages of love and positivity. The shirt features exclusive artwork showcasing the word “Equality” in 50 languages and is available for sale on the UN Women USA website with 100% of the proceeds headed towards supporting UN Women programs worldwide! This project was made possible by 525 America donating the shirts as canvas and by the generosity of the influencers and talents who donated their time to help support and promote such a valuable cause.

As the world evolves, the way we consume and interact with fashion and the arts is destined to evolve as well. From scouting new talent to making high-fashion more accessible to the everyday consumer, Designow knew the business of fashion was changing. In its essence, Designow is an original and innovative digital platform that works to discover, develop, and promote emerging designers. For the past 3 years, Cinzia Brandi led the charges as the Fashion, Creative and Editorial Director for the platform. Seeking out the next up-and-coming designers, Designow worked primarily with students from the major fashion schools such as Parsons, FIT, and Pratt, to name a few. The platform would give these students much-needed exposure, both through features on the site and the annual fashion show competition THE COLLECTIVE x DESIGNOW, allowing the young designers to showcase their best pieces before a jury of industry experts. A very unique experience to say the least!

Simultaneously the platform also partnered with more established designers and influencers to develop capsule collections sold on the online shop. For these exclusive collaborationsDesignow developed a full branding system that went beyond the basic design of the collections, stretching all the way to defining every aspect of their brands to the most minuscule of details; from the campaign image to the hang tags, to the individually designed packaging.

In addition to these responsibilities, being the Editorial Director meant Cinzia was also in charge of managing the Designow Blog and Social Media as the platform worked to double as a social hub providing a fashion-centric space for young professionals or interested individuals to connect, share, and meet up at their ongoing events. 

This multimedia experience - linking business, to creative, to communications - has provided Cinzia with the groundwork to take on a plethora of different endeavors and truly hone in on her media expertise, making her the fashion media guru she is today. Ready to oversee all the different aspects of the fashion process - such as design, production, creative direction, photoshoots, and media communications.
